Well that was the most fun and energetic show I have been to in a while, might be my favorite show I’ve been to this year honestly.

 

Turkey Vultures was a huge highlight for me, so glad it was on the set. I thought “Fate Is” also ripped.

It’s either this or Blue Rev for me. Both immediate instant classics for me personally.

 

that sounds right without spending much time thinking about it. if it's not this it's saint cloud or boat songs for me

 

It’s this, Punisher, Saint Cloud, And In The Darkness Hearts Aglow, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately, or Fetch the Bolt Cutters as best of the decade so far.

 

I am fully expecting them to be on the Pitchfork lineup next year, and considering they sold out a 1k capacity venue here I could see them getting a top 3 slot on the day they perform.

 

This is definitely up there and is pretty easily in my top 2 of the year so far, but I think I’ve settled on thinking Twin Plagues is just slightly better, or at least slightly more to my preferences.

 

They seem poised to be in the pre headliner slot. But yea I think they got to be a lock for P4K next year as well.

 

they’re an interesting live act for me. i think at a fest or A market they could definitely crush it but there are much smaller bands that i’ve seen pack out the venue they played here that they got like 50% out of

 

The first time I saw them it was such a smaller crowd compared to the Rat Saw God tour, when I walked into the venue I was immediately overstimulated, it was very very packed in, good for them

 

this was maybe two months ago, probably like 150-200 people

 

This is pretty much complete opposite how I feel. I don’t think either of the other records are close to as good as this

 

the closest one to how good this is is the covers album

 

Yeah they’ve gotten better with each release

 

finally spun this after sleeping on it for months, absolutely rips

 

it's giving Big Thief finally made an album out of "Not" and I'm all about it

 

i like this way more than anything big thief has ever put out and don’t find them to be all that similar, even just looking at Not

 

Its my album of the year but it would be the fifth best Big Thief record.
