Missed this announcement. These singles are sick. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to Remember the Rockets but this feels like quite the departure.

 

Oh boy. Just Googled these guys to see what they were up to and found this new album. What a nice surprise. Planes In Front of the Sun is still the best song ever.

I know not a lot of people have been vibing with their sonic shift since No Light in Heaven, but everything they have done since has been the perfect venn diagram of everything i want in music.

Favourite of the 4 for sure. Not entirely sure I'm sold on this new sound but I'm getting there.

 

The singles are defiantly the most "strange ranger" stuff on here.

Selfishly I probably wish this was a bit more catchy but I’m sure it’ll grow on me after a bit.

where the big moments of catharsis came from the huge vocal moments on their past albums, this seems now all built around the instrumental sections

the production is so detailed with so many hidden little moments. Will be a joy to pull it apart
