It’s been years since I’ve put on a MCS album

 

MCS is great and holds up the best out of that era

MCS is way more pop punk and are about as emo as Taking Back Sunday are in that they had some goofy outfits and hairdos while getting features on Alt Press and probably hit it off in Hot Topic merch

I specify third wave cause earlier forms of emo sound nothing like that at all haha. I wish I could just invent another genre name for it but it would never catch on.

whatever wave of emo we’re in right now is really more of a combination of second and third wave emo than anything. More of a revival than a new trend
