Probably Sunset Tree but there are no bad choices. I'd take Beat the Champ and Transcendental Youth over all four of those though.

 

Not trying to be difficult, but some reason it irks me to include All Hail here just because i think it’s a great cap on the first leg of TMG career. Also because Get Lonely is underrated as hell and fits with the other 3 better imo.

My ranking is probably not what most people’s would be: Healed > Tallahassee > Texas > Sunset Tree. Get Lonely would be my favorite on days in which I’m massively depressed, though.

Space is such a great spot to see them, but I can't make that or the Salt Shed shows this time.

 

It's almost impossible for me to choose between Sunset Tree and Healed, but I'd pick West Texas over Tallahassee

Tallahassee is phenomenal too, their discography is so stacked

 

I am 100% going to the show now! Waiting for a friend to book flights together, and another friend said she could potentially hook me up with a good BnB... so excited

 

Those three releases are the best era of the band

They did Palmcorder Yanja with Craig Finn over the weekend when they opened up a couple shows for The Hold Steady. All the other English major dweebs and I about passed out.

 

I was there! Incredible show. Craig is so good.
