My live performance history solely consists of joining my friend’s band to cover Set Your Goals’ Certain at a VFW in Stroud, OK in like, 2012? It was not good

 

My live performance history was getting kicked out of the 6th grade talent show when my friends and I lied about what we were doing and instead surprised everyone with a parody of My Humps called My Chunks and we all dressed up as cookies and milk and danced and “puked”

I just cannot stand the “I paid my student loans, so should you” boomer argument

motherfucker you paid like $7k for your college education, mine would be paid off too if it was that cheap. Even with student loan “forgiveness” (see: a $20k discount) the majority of us still paid several times more than our parents for college, even if you adjust for inflation. The entire argument against it is bullshit

(like 90% of them had their parents put their down payment on their house, but ya know who is counting?)

 

They understand exactly what they’re saying with their argument. They don’t care about the numbers. They only want you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and suffer like they did because they want others to be just as unhappy as they are
