Anyone else’s city seeing this Kia/Hyundai theft thing becoming a major problem? Two Kia’s were stolen out of my buildings lot last night.

I guess there’s been 1500+ thefts in the first 6 months alone of just these cars in my county.

some flaw in their design makes them easy to steal I guess. I think I remember hearing that some insurance companies were just denying coverage of Kia/Hyundai vehicles because of it? but that was awhile ago

My hyundai got stolen last summer because of this. They’re calling in all hyundais affected to do a fix though, i still have to call the dealership about getting that set up tho
