Looks like the Hayes trade went through. 6th rounder for Philly. Krug obviously did not want to be moved.

 

I mean I know Hayes is way overpaid, but trading him for basically free and also retaining 50% for 3 more years seems absurd to me

 

yeah im not a Hayes fan really at all but can't be that upset about him at $3.5M for nothing

Yeah it’s one thing to move his whole salary at such a low price, but they should have gotten something more for retaining 50%. Not sure what’s the rush to move him, not like Philly is contending.

Weird to see Canes linked to Karlsson. But I guess if Sharks retain some salary we may prefer paying Karlsson for 4 more years over giving Pesce a new 7-8 year deal.
