Has he said he wants to sign with a contender? Genuine question, I honestly can’t remember

 

Cuz, I mean, I’m sure he saw what Odell got with the Ravens and feels that that should be considered his floor

 

he will go where the money is. everyone says they wanna play for a contender (i dont know if he actually said this, this is more of a general thing). if the Buccaneers offered him 3 years $90m he's take it tomorrow.

I doubt he ever did. Or like, did as in “it’d be great/I’d prefer if a contender offered me what I want” but not as in “I’m going to sign with a contender for less than what I want vs waiting for any of the 32 teams to offer what I want”

Yeah, Hopkins isn’t going to sign with the Chiefs or the Bills for half of what Odell is making just to play for a contender

It's very different for veteran NFL players to take less to join a contender than say the NBA. Their careers are shorter, and they put their body through much worse. Get as much money as you can while you can
