First I’ve heard of Panthers being in for Hopkins. He’d obviously make us better. But I’d be sad to see a couple of the young guys have their snaps limited because of it.

The group definitely looks better with an actual WR1 though.

 

Terrace Marshall is going to impress people this year. He’s was so underutilized with Rhule. But I don’t see him ever being a WR1. Thielen is a solid option but aging and production going down. WR clearly a need but only if it’s a player that can come in and be the top guy. If the team thinks Nuke fits that requirement then they need to make it happen. We have more cap than Browns and Pats so that shouldn’t be an issue.

If Hopkins did sign it’s not the WORST core for a rookie QB. Probably better to have a mix of aging veterans with maybe a lil pop left mixed in with some young guys for the first year or 2

 

got one of those promotional emails from the employee perks website and it's like "hey here's a deal on a Samsung tv, it's $4,000 instead of $4,800!" like ok guys let's be reasonable here

Hopkins to Carolina would be cool considering that division is wide open. If Young is legit, they could turn into contenders as early as next season.

Also, I’d be stunned is Terrace Marshall ever became anything other than a deep threat, contested catch guy. I know he’s another guy that Joe Burrow once breathed in the vicinity of, but when a new coaching staff comes in and signs Adam Thielen and DJ Chark in free agency, then spends notable draft capital on Jonathan Mingo, it’s safe to say that the deck is stacked against Marshall, to say the very least. Maybe he’s competing with Chark for a role, but that’s not saying much.
