So stoked for the show in Charlotte now that we’re absolutely getting the most incredible set of their careers outside of Chicago.

Are you kidding me I would’ve killed to have Gin Joints :( and what a time to be alive was one of my top picks from the new album

Haven't seen FOB since prob 2006 but considering going myself here in the UK, pick up a last minute ticket.

With the 3 TTTYG songs, it feels like beggars can't be choosers, I'd definitely swap out Calm but equally getting 3 songs in a row from that album is immense.

I'd like to see more from Stardust. Of the list 1 isn't even a song. I like Fake Out but live I'd rather have Heartbreak or Kintsugi.

Still, it's as decent a setlist as can be given where the band are in their careers and their hits etc.

Pretty sure I just convinced my father, who will be 62 next month, to go see Fall Out Boy with me in August. I mean the man went to see Between The Buried And Me with my brother last night so....Lets fucking rage!!

Just realized they're in Dallas next week and I have said week off work... tickets aren't too bad, surely they'll go down day of the show, right?

Hell yeah they will go down.

2 tickets at Fenway in the not so great sections (but who fucking cares I just wanna rage) are like 30-50 each. Hoping that will happen for 1975 tix at the end of the summer.

Man that was such a good show, even being out on the lawn was a fantastic experience and they sounded phenomenal, y’all need to see this show it’s a great set with all the hits you’d want and a few deeper cuts. Would’ve liked 2-3 more songs from stardust but the ones we got are top tier (fake out is my favorite fall out boy song besides headfirst slide and we got both so wins all around). Slipping in covers of crazy train and don’t stop believing was a clever way to keep the parents engaged (saw A LOT of young kids with their parents there) and they didn’t play the entire song of either so it’s not like they took up much of the set with those being in there. Overall the only complaint I have is that they continue to play centuries live, absolute dog shit song but seeing how the crowd reacted to it made it clear why they play it lol

I really wish I could explain the level of excitement I have about seeing them.

I have my FOB playlist going right now in the living room and "Hum Hallelujah" is on.

I’m Like a Lawyer was last night’s piano song, Take Over was swapped for Hum Hallelujah, and Sophomore Slump was the Magic 8 ball song.

    Composer, but never composed.

i only recently discovered some people don't like the mighty fall, esp big sean's verse. that song is unskippable for me, so good

irrelevant thought i've had over the years and i know patrick writes the bass parts but can pete even play bass beyond simple parts? has this been discussed before?

Damn I think the setlist they're playing now is fantastic, I actually should have lumped them in with my original post

Pete plays bass like a punk bassist. Always has and always will. Patrick takes the reins on the recorded material for the most part sure but if you’ve seen them live you know Pete is definitely playing and it sounds good. I’m sure if he wanted to be a technically gifted bassist he could achieve that. I think it’s pretty similar to Meg white on drums. He’s got a distinctive style that he’s good at and keeping it simple serves the music especially in a live setting where he’s in control.
