Wingels just jumped Cogliano after a clean hit and you're worried about stuff from Kings?

 

I'm not worried at all. The Sharks however still have the stupid mindset of the Kings being all big, bad and tough.

yeah i just found it on the blues board. dammit im going to get caught up in this now only to have nothing happen.

 

Apparently Rangers mods on there have seen the unedited text and basically say the two names crossed out are shatty and then Doug (army). Apparently it's 50/50 at this point, but with lineups due tomorrow, should give me a lot of anxiety. I'd rather wait for him as an FA next summer depending on this offer.

 

Yeah I saw that. I don't know if you ventured on to our board there but Apparently whoever this guys source is is legit to the blues and has been right on trades in the past.

 

That seems like an easy, albeit creative, thing to make up.

I haven't, but I saw he had the Yak trade a few days ago before it broke too... I'd love Shatt, but I'm just nervous about what the offer is gonna be. Especially when he wants to come here anyway, might as well wait til he's an FA.

That's actually a relief. I didn't see us as being good trading partners to begin with honestly. The blues need centers and I don't see any that you all would realistically move for shatty.

 

Agreed... ready to just get on to the start of the season now.

 

The Shattenkirk rumors never die hahaha. Was a huge Shattenkirk fan when he was on the Avs and I knew trading him away (especially for that return) would be a regret. I'd love to have him on our D, because losing Yandle was a big hit and the Rangers really need something going for their D. But I don't see the move happening this season realistically either

 

There's no way the Rangers could even entertain Shattenkirk until Girardi is off the books, right?

 

Michael Haley made the roster as the 13th forward because the Sharks enjoy making me sad.

Mantha sent down to the AHL, and now for some reason we only have a 22 player roster! So glad we sent Pulk through waivers!

No word on if he's been claimed yet, but there were rumblings that the Leafs might. He's not clearing waivers, he's as good as gone from the Wings. I just love losing young prospects for nothing!
