Goddamn San Diego tickets are cheap! I work that night until like 9:30 but I might pay $10 just to see the second half of the set lol

 

You could end up with a decent exit point too

 

These were my thoughts exactly with the LA night two tickets. If something pops up and I can’t make it / only make a part of the show / just decide not to go, at $15/Ticket it’s worth it.

they were direct support, direct support always gets longer than the opening band. openers generally get 20-30 minute sets and then direct support will get 45 to an hour, and then the headliner obviously the longest

the first time FOB played wrigley MGK & Rise Against opened. MGK played like half hourish and then rise against had a 40-50 minute set.

 

45 is the fairly standard direct support slot. An hour is a bit long, but obviously all involved approved the length, so whatever. Not everything needs to be a rule.

Are BMTH any good live? (I’m asking someone who only really listened to one one and find them insufferable otherwise)

 

I've never seen them but everyone i know whose seen them say they are fantastic. great energy and play a good mix from their discography (I've heard this about their sets at lolla and at club/venues)

 

Yeah this will be my third time seeing BMTH and I've always enjoyed them. This is pretty close to a "dream lineup" for me with BMTH x FOB, like a 8/10 on a "must see" scale.

Very excited for both performances and setlists
