I feel chill about the Rice situation. Either he comes to us or he doesn’t. He wants to stay in London but I understand City is lots of money and guaranteed trophies. Besides, we’ll have alternatives.

Did we get Vlahovic? No, so we went Jesus.

Did we get Martinez? No, so we went Zinchenko.

Did we get Mudryk? No, so we went Trossard.

If he chooses City, then fair enough. But we’ll move on and typically, we’ll still get better.

If Ruben Neves is bought by Al-Itthad, owned by PIF, and then loaned to Newcastle, which is also owned by PIF, that’s kind of fucked.

Ya. There's lots of controversy surrounding the prospect of this transfer happening for a reason.

  5. If this is true, we should just move on to the next target. Maddison is good and all but I'm sure we can find a better deal.

Brentford will probably keep waiting, and then panic sell for a cheap price right before the season starts

I'm still not going to pretend I know about this new keeper but the reviews out of Italy are fantastic. Glad we didn't drag out nauseating negotiations with Brentford all summer. Sounds like we approached this with a better plan and just swiftly moved on to the next target. Won't be surprised if we do the same with Maddison.

Yeah I can’t be mad at not getting Raya. Spurs handled it extremely well to not get into a stalemate. Hope Vicario ends up being great, stats have me initially optimistic

So we just need to pay the right fee? Hopefully we can do it.

Still don't quite understand where Rice is going to slot in if he goes to City but I trust Pep. He offers a ton of versatility though and I can slot him in about three different roles and add a fourth if Pep decides he is a left back lol.

  21. I’m guessing Forrest will buy him?

I think the club is waiting to sell until they have another keeper secured. Onana’s agent is in Manchester and I think that deal will be wrapped up at some point hopefully soon. This window is a bit of a mess and no one knows what money or even who’s money is available due to the unresolved nature of the sale of the club.

Yes. It’s an odd situation. Forest want to buy him, we want to sell him but not until the De Gea situation is sorted. We want Onana (or Costa but he’s too expensive) but can’t get them in until there’s clarity on DDG. We “want” DDG to stay, he “wants” to stay but we’re offering a significantly lower wage to him so it’s stalled. There’s also reports in there that the deal was agreed with DDG months ago and just never signed off by the club, also apparently terms changed recently for an even lower base wage with more bonuses. It’s all a bit up in the air but I am confident to say with 100% certainty Hendo will not be at United at the end of the window.

Works for me, either we sign a midfielder the manager wants or I don’t have to delete posts.
