Not all, but a lot of them are.

Mendy, Partey, Ziyech, and Koulibaly all are I believe.

Kante is a Muslim as well. I remember an absolute massive performance he had and the commentators were like “And all during Ramadan! He must be hungry!”

Most of the Chelsea players linked with Saudi clubs are. Just Hudson-Odoi that isn't. Outside of Chelsea I don't believe Neves is Muslim, but Benzema is. It's more than likely the guys in charge of the clubs over there realised that there are a bunch of high profile players that need to be sold that would be massively popular there (and possibly acclimatise well) and it just so happened 4 of them were players Chelsea wanted rid of.

So, Chelsea have essentially recouped the fee they paid for Havertz minus £3m. I think that represents good business, which is something I thought I'd never say about them under Boehly.

Not mad keen on the fee, but I do think he’s a much better player than he has appeared at Chelsea.

    I trust our talent ID.

West Ham are desperate for that bidding war

  10. If this is true, why wouldn’t PSG pay the clause and flip him for much more?

Player has to agree. He might fancy having more say on where he ends up, or might feel loyalty to PSV and want them to get a larger fee. Or might not trust PSG to sell him onwards.

I thought something similar but I wasn't sure if there's a rule which prevents a club from buying and then flipping immediately. Surely there's got to be a threshold period?

Barca did this with Cucarella in the same window iirc

I’d absolutely love Xavi Simmons if the price was reasonable. He was so good in the games against us in Europe.

I think Benik Afobe was purchased by Wolves and sold like two weeks later to Bournemouth for a few million profit, iirc.

  17. I’m hoping Havertz takes you guys out of the Xavi race lol

Does Havertz replace Xhaka in the lineup?

  19. Spurs have been looking at both Maddison and Barnes. And based on what Leicester want for Barnes….I’d much prefer the attacking duo we bring in be Maddison and Xavi.

Can someone make sense of the Havertz appeal? I always saw him as a lazier striker who only flourished when the ball was placed right on his foot for a knock in.

I’m doubting his work rate is a fit for ARS style of play but must be missing something.

Think something happened after the Bebe thing in 07 but can't remember what. I know you can only play for 2 clubs in a calendaryear.

    @fangclubb Prestigious

There’s a rule where you can’t play in official games for more than two clubs in a calendar year.

He still has so much potential and I am sad he is being sold right when CFC get a manager that could actually bring it out of him. A player who could get double figures goals and assists per season, added to an AFC attack that is already ridiculous as it is - he suffered from poor managers and being used poorly at CFC and that is why his confidence and attitude dropped, his ability was never in question

Looks like we aren’t signing Mount. Wonder if we will move on quick.
