I saw a Silence of the Lambs dvd with a cool cover but idk i have mixed feelings about it now as a trans person

 

I wanna be the 1996 version of Adam Scott’s character in Hellraiser 4 for Halloween

 

He looks like Ryan Gosling in Stay lol (watched last night)

 

He also looks like the kid in Mars Attacks lol (watched a couple days ago)

 

Already saw Bryan talking shit on JBB on Twitter and it makes me not want to listen lmao

 

I didn't see the tweet, but the episode is extremely funny and no mention of Joe Bob.

idk why I can handle Evil Dead Rise and Hellraiser 2022 but stuff like Terrifier sounds like too much for me

 

Same. I think when it's marketed as like a test of endurance or a badge of honor if you can sit through it, I immediately lose any interest too.

 

I detest this movie.

 

Also the Terrifier movies are just straight up malicious. The first half an hour or so of the new one was as enjoyable as either one has gotten for me, but it falls back into unpleasant cruelty and completely lost me after that one scene…

 

Yeah, the bedroom scene in 2 was just obscene and cruel. Reminds me of the discourse re: Zara’s death in Jurassic World dialed to a 1000.

 

My wife loves Martyrs, I don't think I've stared at the wall more during any other movie

Martyrs is an all-timer for me. The pinnacle of that French Extremity wave of horror.

 

Martyrs is brutal, but quite good

 

Love Martyrs and both Terrifiers, especially 2.

 

Not as much of a Terrifier guy, but I know a lot of folks in here love it and I totally get the appeal

 

The Blackening was fun, but I think I prefer Bodies x3, which still managed to actually be somewhat scary, and Sissy, which at least had some gnarly gore.

 

Joe Bob is back this week with aquatic horror night. A lot of folks guessing Leviathan and Deep Star Six. I'm thinking Cruel Jaws and The Deep House. Should be good regardless!

 

Deep House was pretty disappointing imo. I've never seen the other ones mentioned

 

Damn, that's a bummer to hear - it's been on my list because the premise is so cool

Also, Cruel Jaws ("Jaws 5") is an Italian Jaws ripoff and it rules lol. Could also be Orca!

 

Blackening was okay. Nothing we haven't seen already, very predictable ending. Was hoping for a little more horror when it came to the kills.

 

I'm still looking forward to it. Hoping to double-feature it with Indy next weekend
