let me add some perspective, btw:

Home Is Where recorded their first EP in this talent buyer / agent’s living room.

last year they toured with Foxing, and they are now well known enough to have a Wikipedia page made for them. Their new album that just dropped also got mentioned on the Grammy’s website as one of 15 “must hear” albums for June. And soon they’re touring with other emo stalwarts Smidley (Foxing guy’s other project) and Awakebutstillinbed

This booking agency also had a hand in Pool Kids “making it” and touring with The Wonder Years, Origami Angel, Soccer Mommy and PUP since 2019… and they’ve played a huge role in GILT popping off as well and being featured on Audiotree and several festivals as well as even playing a couple shows with Thursday once.

And that’s just north Florida bands I used to know when I was in Jacksonville. I literally was like “damn that coulda been me” and one day I was like “wait… Richard’s booked me before, he knows me, maybe he’d help me out”. So this really is a legitimate opportunity with an agency that has some reach.
