I was frustrated with this too, so I finally broke down and Googled it to see if I was missing something important since I already completed the main objective up there.

Sort of minor spoiler here so I'll go ahead and tag it but apparently the storm will clear, but you are supposed to do all of the main quests first, which I definitely DID NOT.. Apparently if you beat the four regions and then continue on with the main plot, it will eventually clear the storm for you so you can unlock the fifth sage in the correct order. I avoided going to Hyrule after I beat the four regions because I thought the game would end, so I started exploring and did all of that by accident.... Would have been much easier to follow the actual order of things and clear out the storm before exploring the Thunderhead Isles.

How far are you in the main quest? Not trying to spoil too much but you might want to visit it later.

Struggling with the "Flux Construsts" in the depths. Maybe I'm just really bad at fighting in this game or don't have enough hearts yet but I can't seem to get anywhere in attempting to fight those dudes right now.

Use Ultrahand and pull their blocks apart if you haven't done that. I didn't know that you could do that for the longest time, but once you start using that method, it makes it easy to take them out. You can actually just lock onto the main glowing block and shake him apart instantly.

Also, whenever they form a square and fly way up high, just use Recall on one of the blocks they throw down at you, climb on top of it and ride it up to the top.

Those two things make them a breeze to get through. You don't even have to use a single arrow to take them down.

Huh, this is really interesting, thanks both of you! I already did the entire fifth sage quest (and have actually beaten the game) but apparently missed whatever the trigger is to actually end the storm. Kind of funny it let me do that. I did the fifth sage segment entirely within the clouds, just because I figured the Zonai have an association with Faron so I happened to try there. At the time I was thinking “how would a non-hardcore Zelda fan ever find this?” because I thought the only direction I was given is to look for old ruins. This makes me think I may have missed an entire section that would’ve actually told me where to go.

You were supposed to find those ruins on the ground. Then do… stuff. Then it clears it up.

Today I found more shrines, finally fixed up Lurelin Village, and found the third Great Fairy, among other things. I'm slowly running out of things to do on the west side of the map that aren't Gerudo territory, so I'm gonna start cleaning up the east side some more, and slowly work my way back to to the Zoras.

Just right above the village there's a grove with enough and a few in the village already chopped, I believe.

I forgot to mention this, but yesterday when I was gathering the logs to rebuild Lurelin Villige, I dumped some logs by the builder guy, got distracted by a shiny thng, went to go investigate, and he stopped me and yelled at me for just trying to dump the logs and leave without a word.

I thought that was a nice, albeit a little weird, touch. I wonder how many hidden interactions there are like that in the game?

There are tons of them. That is part of the true Nintendo magic in this game.

It's cool but you can't upgrade it, and the Sheikah set will give you the same bonus plus stealth

I have more poes than I know what to do with. The set looks cool. It’s up to you.

What are people's favorite sets to wear? I'm very partial to the Sheikah/stealth set but I've grown very fond of the Glide set and find myself wearing it a lot, makes Link feel like Nite Owl or Batman lol

im in the fierce deity the most because of the attack bonus but, champions leathers sheikah trousers and the hear tie is my very good looking preferred wardrobe.

I'm wearing the Phantom Armor and Helmet, but also the Snowquill Trousers, because Link gets cold.

My favorite look is Sheikah/stealth, but I don't have all of the items needed to fully upgrade it, so I stick with my fully upgraded Hylian armor. I dyed the shirt and pants white and it looks pretty cool with the default grey hood. Or sometimes I wear Midna's helmet because that's my cat's name and it looks cool lol.
