im not anti horse in the sense that i am still accumulating pony points when i can but, good lord i never ride a horse as a means of transportation. some of the worst controls i've ever experienced in a video game.

I'm sooo glad I shut off automatic updates heh

 

I got a new router and wifi password right before TOTK came out, so my Switch hasn't been able to access the WiFi to update. I want to try the glitch at least once for fun but I'm going to wait to finish the game without cheating.

 

I don't mind duping for clothing upgrades, fuse materials and rupees. Those things are a chore to me tbh

 

I wish I had the dupe ability for sundelions. Sundelion meals are probably more important for the final battle than having extra hearts. Collecting them was definitely a chore for me

 

I beat it last night with about 100 shrines and fully upgraded Champions leathers, Hylian Hood and pants. Really loved the ending and the final part was a blast.

Gonna take a little break from this and go back to finish all the shrines, I’ll prob end up looking up a lot of those lol

 

Well I’m dumb and thought FF16 came out yesterday and it didn’t so I’m back on my Hyrule bs.

Did a bunch of side quests and also some Gazette quests which lead to my first Fairy. Fuck I love this game so much. All the content is essential.

 

Once you get to the final demon king battle is there a way to exit it? My son has like 3 hearts and no food and very few weapons but he says he can’t go back

 

I’m pretty sure once you make the final dive that it’s a point of no return. You’d have to reload a previous save. I can’t say I’m 100% positive on that though

 

Frustrating sesh tonight. Only 4 lightroots, one shrine and couldn't find the Misko's treasure I was looking for.

 

I think I have like 68 shrines and I'm just not seeing them in the overworld anymore. Are there that many in caves? Definitely just going to look them up at this point lol

 

There are a lot in caves, yes.

 

So pumped to have just found the Hylian shield

 

You should find more just by utilizing each skyview tower and shooting yourself into the sky and looking around that way. Also going to the Gerudo area depths and looking for light roots will probably yield a handful as well.

Think I just found the fire temple before even speaking to Yunobo

 

Did the Lomei Sky Island side quest today. Dope. Gonna do the other two labyrinths this week to get the full OoT Phantom Ganondorf set of armor.

 

Did fire temple this morning. Yunobo was not THAT annoying. It was fine.

 

Straight up, my least favorite mechanics/situation was the yiga boat fight.

 

Best way to find shrines is to map the depths tbh

 

Finished the fourth temple today. Lightning was definitely my favorite by far. Gonna go stall and do basically anything else I can find to do before going back to lookout landing. Haha.

 

It’s more so that he’s annoying using his ability because he’s never where you need him to be
