I remember when I had beef with a 35 year old cook at Sonic because I was a 20 year old manager that he didn't want to listen to

The first year I worked overnights I got strep 4 times, the flu 3 times, and covid lmao and my sleep schedule was fucked. I was tired all the time

Dude I would go in Sunday at 7, get off at 5 AM, repeat until Thursday morning. So I basically missed every football game and wrestling show

For a little while too I was working in fast food on Friday & Saturday evenings then going back to overnights. It was miserable lol

Probably the worst overnight experience for me was actually when I had changed positions at Lowe’s, so my schedule was flipped to 5 AM - 2 PM Monday-Friday on the merchandising team. We had to work a week of overnights to completely redo the flooring section, then one week back on days, then 2 weeks back on nights to set up for Christmas (in September of course) then back to days

  25. My first job was a caddy at a country club and the only pay I got was tips. Most times I would lug around golf clubs for 4 hours in 90 degrees heat for 20 bucks.
