I've noticed in album ranking things, I tend to be more of a "complete album" kinda mindset. For example, I actually like the overall style and vibe of N1A and POP2, but there are too many individual songs on both that bring down the "album" for me. Charli on the other hand has no misses for me, feels like a fully realized version of the two mixtapes. Sucker and True Romance are both all killer no filler. Even if the mixtapes have higher highs, the "full album"-ness of them isn't there to bring them up.

This thread is dead, but I didn't know where else to put this. I just made a preliminary topsters list today. Not in specific order. This was my first go around and 5x5 was definitely tough. I've seen a bunch of these list rankings and wanted to try one out myself, so I searched for the site and threw this together. Would love to see other people's! Should we make a new thread for it?

 

We did a top 50 a couple years ago and my tastes have changed enough that I'd be down to do that (or 25) again

 

I'm actually ready to rank things again.

I guess. I feel like it's a hard thing to rate aside from the top and bottom. I am currently trying to give books more of a chance after ignoring them completely for most of my adult life. I've got a big list of things to try that I'm working through, hoping to find some stuff that really connects with me.

 

I used to read books, then I learned I could see and hear stories and it was game over
