The reviews on Discogs were positive too. I went with a "Buy It Now" option. Guess I was the lucky recipient of a defective copy.

Anybody else occasionally get the urge to just sell all of their records?

As I lose control of my spending and the records pile up, I am starting to feel a bit anxious about it all. haha. But then I play them, and it calms me down. At least the ones that don't sound like shit.

When I realize how much money I could have if I sold most of my collection, it gets tempting. But I don't think I could ever do it lol

    Die rad.

I go through different phases. Been collecting since 2010 and have certainly sold off a ton of my collection over the years just due to what I could get for them. At one point I had complete discographies of blink, thrice, brand new, senses fail and started sellig them off when i could get $150+ for something I paid $25 for. That got more addicting then buying record for a while. Probably made atleast $3k profit selling records that were collecting dust. I figured, what's better a new car/ house or record i play twice a year that I can just play on Spotify through my stereo set up. I then stopped buying records for a good 2 years, but recently got back into the swing of things in 2021. A lot of the stuff I sold has since been repressed and I wanted them again along with other stuff. My one rule I have is that I will not buy more than 3 records a month so that I dedicate enough time to listening to them. I also work from home now and moved my stereo set up into the office and spin stuff atleast 4 hours a day. If I havent dedicated atleast 15 spins to a record I feel like I didn't get my money worth. Cause once it gets shelved the first time, chances are it doesnt come back out for a few years.

We reach for the longest shadow

Yeah. I was starting to delve into lossless music and nice listening setups, and vinyl is just an imperfect listening experience, which is part of the appeal, but I thought I might want to sell it all and invest in high quality digital listening stations. Didn't pull the trigger, and I keep buying albums, but it is tempting. Not having physical copies of the music I love is a scary thought though.

I have a digital streamer (Cambridge CXN) paired with my Cambridge CXA80 and stream Tidal through it. Certainly more convenient then flipping a record up to 4 times to listen a full album. But yet I still flip

Love the aesthetic of those Cambridge stacks. What speakers are you using?

Good for everyone who didn't snag it the first time!

I had it in my cart and debated and then it was gone, and I actually didn't feel bad. I may partake tomorrow... I've let a lot of preorders/restocks slide this week.

    Detox, just to retox.

Do I buy a copy of the 2nd pressing, 20th anniversary of NFG - Sticks and Stones or give up? It’s bothering me. Haha. I want a good copy.
