Hey, if you like getting shit-holed and not wearing a coat, Newcastle is a way better destination than Milan!

 

I think he’s a good player technically but I really don’t understand what his best position is or where he would fit in to our team. He wouldn’t replace anyone in our first 11, and his wages and fee would be too high for a rotation option.

There are much better options out there, and we need to find value in the market if we are spending big on our midfield, so I really don’t get it. What’s more, we’d just be helping them out of a hole and funding a rival in a big way.

Something about it feels off, but our talent ID has generally been pretty fantastic over the past 24-30 months.

 

I'm relatively happy with Everton's early fixtures. We've got a tough December, though, including City at home on Boxing Day. Also, hopefully we're not in a relegation battle come the final day as this time around we've got Arsenal away.
