Anyone have Sufjan Stevens - Illinois Blue Marvel (10th anniversary) edition? How’s it sound?

 

I’ve got it. I haven’t set up my record player in a couple years (have a 3 year old son), but I remember it sounding pretty great. Did I mention how bummed I am I missed out on the Third Man Records variant? Fucking hell.

 

Thanks. At least we get a chance at the AKR variant tomorrow? Only 500 copies though.

 

Also HMV has a variant going live on the 17th but I believe it is UK only.

 

If I become desperate, I’ll try for that one assuming they ship to the states. The Third Man variant looks awesome. I’m pissed as well.

 

I just don't get why there's such a huge discrepancy in pricing. Are people seriously paying that much for mint condish?

 

Exactly. Look at the aftermaket prices for her Black Friday RSD variants of the first 3 albums and that Orange variant of Reputation. Swifties be silly in how much they'll fork out for her releases..

Ive been debating parting with the S/T deluxe edition cd/dvd set that I got back in 2007. Also the Beautiful Eyes Walmart exclusive EP from back then as well... I could make baaaaaank on those haha.

It's definitely a little glitchy. Really sucks.

 

It's weird that only the Third Man Michigan variant got alternate artwork. They could've really done something fun with the Michigan/Michigan St colors on the cover.
