Yellowcard’s EP Gets Moved Back

So they can record five more songs and make it a full-length?

 

It seems like this is out of their control.

 

I wonder if they’ll have more studio time

I think they're just trying to align the digital release with when shipments will happen.

 

Idk man I can’t imagine paying $25+ for more than 5 songs

 

Awww mannn. This is odd, but my two educated guesses are supply issues or some delay concerning the legal side of carraba/fuentes.

 

Personally, I spent big on merch/physical formats because I won't be catching them live or anything.

 

Shit, I used to go into Best Buy and drop $25 on a random cd that I chose because the artwork was cool and I couldn’t look up reviews. Used to feel like if I got 2-3 songs I loved from a band/record I’d never heard of, it was a huge win. I’m happy to support a band I love however.

 

July 9 is a Sunday, kind of odd to have that as original release date.

Actually, and I don’t think that the pushback is due to TS at all, the two vault tracks having features from FOB and Paramore actually does qualify it being in competition with each other lol

 

And Spotify will only let you choose one, so it’s quite a conundrum

 

This is honestly how I found Motion City Soundtrack. Their album cover for Even If It Kills Me stuck out among all other albums. Bought it and loved it. Been a big fan since. I miss being able to do that.
