That may be the best they’ve ever sounded

Thought it was a good closer too actually but it was a little surprising they didn't just do Ladders into Rise, I'm so used to hearing them together like that

Damn they were amazing last night.

NWFT has always been one of my least favorites of theirs, but it really gave me a new appreciation of it.

Saw them in Boston last night. First time at the venue, Roadrunner. Really cool place, and it was packed. I thought the sound in there was a little harsh from where I was standing (left balcony), but it leveled out for most of Coheed's set. They were great. Vaxis II is probably my favorite record of theirs, but NWFT is probably the one I've listened to most, so this was sort of the perfect tour for me to hit. Hadn't seen them since 2015.

Deafheaven was...very much not my thing.

So they played IKS to close out the show in ATL last night.

They've been playing 7 Vaxis II tracks, so a nice helping.

Definitely at least familiarize yourself with No World since they’re playing it in full. Album has some absolute bangers

  18. I listened today and was pretty impressed, the ending suite is unbelievable

Radio Bye Bye and The End Complete are so sick

  20. God they're fucking sick live. Had them pegged as more of a noodly prog band but they've got hooks to burn. Played all my favourite songs off Vaxis II as well, except for Comatose but if they played that they'd probably have to cut one of the songs they actually did play.

Cut the Cord is INCREDIBLE holy shit.

They’re wayyyy more a catchy hard rock band with progressive flourishes here and there. Probably been that way since everything post Good Apollo. Glad you had such a good time.

  22. I am a sucker for bands introducing a melodic theme in the album opener and developing it in the next song. Embers/Beautiful Losers does that SO well.

How was the turnout in Glasgow?

Saw them in October and it was brilliant but couldn't make it this time round sadly.

  25. I had to get accessible seating all the way at the back but it was fucking rammed from what I could see, maybe not sold out but damn close
