They are definitely in my top 5 favorite bands.

Pretty sure B,S is a perfect record.

 

I looked it up, right after I saw them at free fest. Must have been why I didn't see them

 

after spending many years with their records... Catch will always be their crowning jewel... one of the best guitar albums ever - no contest

but it all bleeds passion and creativity - they really touched something special there and then...

 

Catch For Us The Foxes is their best imo, and also one of my fav albums of all time.

Pale Horses is a close second.

it's all crazy... is a distant last.

"Messes of Men" is probably my favorite song of theirs.

Nothing comes close to foxes. I would say pale horses and brother sister are in a tight race for 2nd and 3rd

 

BS and CFUTF are neck and neck, but BS is the more cohesive album IMO.

Never listened to It's All Crazy...

 

It's All Crazy is basically an Aaron solo album with mwY as a backing band.

 

I can't rank their albums, but I do come back to Pale Horses and Brother Sister the most so far. I don't think there's been a week since release that I haven't listened to PH.

 

I always feel like mewithoutYou would get a lot more indie-rock cred if they weren't associated with Bullet Tooth / a lot of less-than-critically-adored 'scene' bands.

 

Slowly digging these guys more and more.

 

Okay so I listened to B,S for the first time in a long time last night. The rhythm sections on that album are so killer. The drums esp

 

"Dorothy" is so haunting and so good

 

10 Stories could be my second favorite. They're all so good though.
