I honestly think though that this is why so many Ravens fans turned against Lamar and still praise Joe Flacco. This is why Steeler fans still critique the shit out of Tomlin and idolize Cowher who literally accomplished LESS. It’s obviously why so many Jaguars fans still hate Jalen Ramsey for standing up for himself.

And I’m definitely not saying it’s everybody, but I am saying it’s prevalent enough of a racism that people who don’t even share those subconscious racist views are still not hearing the dog whistle and are collectively agreeing for “football reasons”, the same way “non racist people” still privately assume they need to be more careful around black citizens because of how the news disproportionally reports on crime

 

Anyway sorry guys, I’m just glad the people here do not view it that way, I’m glad we can talk shit about Aaron Rodgers instead of making up excuses for only one demographic of players. It is not that way in other online sports communities and it obviously isn’t that way in the media either
