What happened to the other 20 years?

 

1) my bad I didn’t see that that ended in 2003

2) however, during that time frame, even a field goal led to sudden death. So teams actually had less of a “chance” to get the ball back cause the toss winner only had to get 2-3 first downs, and it still ended up that the other team still gets a chance 72% of the time

it’s more lenient now

 

The stats don’t matter to me. Teams should stop being fucking soft and get the win in the first four quarters instead of asking for a fraction of a fifth
