Watched it for a second time at home, after taking my 6 year old to see it in theaters opening day. I was pretty meh on it the first time but enjoyed it much more the second time around.

My 3 year old daughter loved all the toads and was hilariously obsessed with the Biddybuds (which got like 4 seconds of screen time).

For a company as conservative as Nintendo, I'm so happy they kept the nihilist Lumalee in there.

Really good time watching this. Great fun and super nostalgic. I'm looking forward to the sequels.

Can't wait for Jack Black to voice Ganondorf and give us his rendition of "Zelda".

(sing Peaches but just replace the word Peaches with Zelda)

I think these reports are probably pretty accurate

I'm curious what story they base/work into this

I hope illumination takes the story more seriously than their other works. DreamWorks would have been my pick for an animated Zelda film, but I don’t think Nintendo would allow Illumination to make Zelda if they were going to turn it into a comedy, so I’m optimistic.

The head of Illumination now sits on Nintendo's board - this is a blood pact between the companies now.

I just hope they get more ambitious with Zelda - yes it should be a kid's movie, but like idk make it more like a Studio Ghibli movie than Despicable Me/Shrek

No, give me the most depressing, beautiful, animated Zelda possible. Make Twilight Princess look upbeat in comparison

How To Train Your Dragon without fart jokes is probably the comp

I'm just hoping they let Link talk or at least have a personality. Nintendo got right up on the very edge of keeping Mario a blank slate character and I'm guessing they'll try to do the same here
