Finished Titans s4. Pretty underwhelming, unfortunately. This show isn't often great but I enjoy it most of the time. This version of Brother Blood is suuuuper boring. Also hated the direction they took Conner this season. I really liked Gar's, Rachel's, and Tim's arcs, though. And Grayson and Kory finally got together!

As much as I'm excited for James Gunn's DC reboot, I can't help but mourn this previous era of DC content. The movies usually weren't very good but at least the shows usually were. With the ending of Titans and Doom Patrol, Young Justice, and the Arrowverse--and the cancellation of Batgirl before we even got to see it--we lost a lot of great queer and poc representation, often before their stories got to wrap things up. Legends of Tomorrow and Young Justice deserved one more season, especially after leaving so many things hanging; I'm glad at least Titans got the chance to go out on its own terms

Honestly don't think I'll ever get over losing the Batgirl movie. We were so close to getting a live-action version of Alysia Yeoh and then it was just gone. Zazlav's dumbfuckery is unforgivable

If you are interested in the world that The Idol is trying to explore, but don't want to have to sit through The Idol go read Jennette McCurdy's I'm Glad My Mom Died.

There are some elements in this that are very similar to Jennette's story getting groomed for stardom by her mom from a young age, appearing on kids sitcoms, and then having an existential crisis when her mom dies of cancer right when her career is taking off, and I kinda wish they didn't because I am waiting for that to get it's own adaptation to do it justice.

Anyone else seen From? I’m two episodes deep and it’s kinda weird but I think it’s good so far.

 

It’s mostly good

some terrible acting, especially the kid

 

American Pain and Burden of Proof were both quite good

 

I'm watching Married with Children on peacock.. im kinda shocked.. it still holds up comedically. The zingers and one liners are solid

 

I remember when it started out on Fox.

 

Finished season 2 of Slow Horses. Quite good. Gonna jump into the book series starting with number three.

I think the next show I check out will be Silo which has earned some praise in this thread. Plus, Graham Yost is an executive producer and he rarely misses.
