If Madrid think they can get Kane for €80m, they must be unfamiliar with Daniel Levy.

He’d rather lose Kane for nothing to a rival in 12 months than have to lose face and sell him for a less-than-ideal price now.

Madrid are hard negotiators themselves when it comes to older players. If they know Kane is interested in the move as reported, they will wait it out. They waited for Alaba, they got Alaba for free. They waited for Rüdiger, they got Rüdiger for free. They waited for Courtois, they got him for a reduced fee. You can go back for the best part of a decade (even more if I'm not mistaken) and it's only Hazard they've got wrong out of the players they've signed the wrong age of 25.

I actually think it's Levy who has his hands tied this time. I think he'll break.

  5. I think it’ll end up being 90m + add-ons to get it to 110m range.

    It's all hell.

    Gross.

That should please all the weirdo fans who get Greenwood trending on twitter after every United draw/loss.

Local sports talk was talking how PIF was only doing LIV golf to squeeze out PGA.

I joked that PIF might invest in the USL to get back at MLS for "stealing" Messi.

  9. Fuck I didn’t know United wanted him as well. Raya is definitely my #1 keeper target. Hopefully we make it happen.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

I think United have Costa as their first option, with Raya being the alternate

Comparison of Messi's arrival vs Beckham's arrival is discussed a bit (among other things).

I guess the upside for Miami at this point is they are only two matches away from a trophy even if they miss the playoffs.

  21. Rice and Caicedo? Or just one of the two?

  22. So fucking pissed that Messi is joining Inter Miami literally the match after they come here. Such a bummer.

Appears the aim is both, which is crazy.

I’ll need to see it to believe it, but if we end up with a midfield of Rice, Caicedo, and Ødegaard, it will be such a massive upgrade.

I hope this means Partey is moved on lol.
