What if it’s a double album and this is all for Pt. 2.

The song title on the computer is one we know from the current track list

At this point I’m just enjoying life and everything I’m into outside of blink. The announcement will come eventually. Will I be insanely stoked and back on the hype train when that happens? Yes, obviously. I’ll be fine until then though.

when Edging came out I had super low expectations for the rest of the album.. but now I listen to Edging like every day and the wait will be worth it I think.

  6. They got us thinking they're wrapping the new album recordings but it's actually We Don't Need to Whisper Acoustic (Deluxe)

  7. Untitled was finished A MONTH before it came out, don't act like this is new lol

Yeah, the launch video from MTV highlighted how last minute it all came together.

  9. It seems like Travis is just touching up some last minute drum parts while everything else is probably totally done. Gotta give them props for at least not half assing it all.

It already feels a lot more focused than Neighbourhoods.

Edging still hasn't grown on me but I'm hopeful for the rest of the album for sure.

Edging is still the best song the band has released in the past 10 months.

It’s not even on the same planet as Neighborhoods, thank goodness. Remember when they dropped Hearts All Gone and the mix was so atrocious that they went back and remixed it after the internet destroyed it? Pepperidge farm remembers.

It might seem like forever since they put out "Edging", but I'll still take that over "Up All Night" which was "announced" in summer of 09 and released in summer of 11.

Also why I don't really mind their apparent strategy of mostly keeping quiet about this album. Neighborhoods had false promises for basically two years where I was beginning to think it wouldn't even materialize.

I really love this, and I'm sure that it's genuine, because you see Tom posting about blink all the time, even in this break in the tour.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm kinda sick of hearing about it, and I wish people would stop bugging Mark about this, because it gets said so much that it almost feels like he's trying to convince us at this point...

Just let the man be and quit hounding him about it.

I think that's the most exciting part to me is the fact that they really took their time *TOGETHER* on this album. Neighborhoods was a back and forth mess. So much so that you can hear each individual member's contributions/songs (like Hearts All Gone is Mark's song through and through).

DED was getting back to the more cohesive approach, but you could feel the tension rising again leading to the second breakup/fallout. Even still, DED showed greater progress than what we received with Neighborhoods.

Seems like they really have nailed down the level of care for this one and they really need to make sure it's a great product with this nostalgia wave pushing them into a new peak.

(For what it's worth, I still love Neighborhoods and DED, I just think we are in for something bigger with this new album).

There better be overlapping vocals….A LOT

Would LOVE this... One of my favorites of theirs is Pathetic from TMTATS where they trade off lines in the verses,
and pretty much the entire song. Would love some of that on this album.
