I feel like after one more world tour next year they go on hiatus with a title like that if it’s not an ode to them leaving roadrunner

EDIT: Just seen the news elsewhere. Very odd and a very brusque statement.

 

Rumor is that their accounts were hacked. After what happened to A7X’s accounts earlier this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case

EDIT: FWIW they played Nova Rock last night with "the new guy" instead of Craig*. Clown is also missing these shows because he's looking after his wife.

*Unless this is some kind of ridiculous double-bluff

Feels very unceremonious for a guy in the band for nearly 30 years

 

To be fair, Craig was always "the quiet one" in the band. There've been some comments from Mick's wife (because of course she is getting questions from salty fans) that imply the way it's been done is very much on purpose, the way he would want it etc.

 

in many ways, it's so surprising to me that Slipknot still exists. Always so much weird baggage with them, and that's before even considering Paul's death and the effect it had on them, plus Clown's personal stuff/loss of his daughter etc.

They do seem to pretty much mail it in live with short/predictable sets despite being pretty heavy touring, which is disappointing, and that latest album was mess IMO.

Just more and more, I'm surprised they continue to be an entity, but i $uppose there's a reason for it...

 

Hard disagree with "mail it in live". Hard agree with the last album being a mess. WANYK was a genuine evolution of their sound, which they very much needed.
