i don't think i would have hated the twist in isolation but the actual ending, which doesn't really feel like a twist, is complete garbage and makes the twist worse

 

oh no, i was looking forward to finishing up the last season

 

“The Idol” pilot sucks so bad. This is like the stuff my friends would watch on Cinemax as teens, except with a bigger budget. Truly unfortunate that only Sam Levinson gets the money for a horny HBO show.

 

saw a tiktok saying we shouldn't watch or even hate-watch that because it doesn't need the attention

 

Some of the cinematography was cool, but besides that yeah it stinks.

Started Queen Charlotte finally. The first half of the first episode was a drag. It's picked up a bit. Enjoy the ridiculousness of this world.

 

I think I watched one or two episodes from the new season and thought it sucked pretty badly. Couldn't really even put my finger on why, but was totally uninterested compared to the rest.

 

Surprised I made it like 2 seasons through Titans before quitting. Terribly executed show from the start imo.

 

I mean yeah but I kinda love those versions of Raven and Star ngl

 

I made it to the start of season 4 and liked it a good bit overall. Then I watched that episode and never bothered going back. I don’t think it was the episode itself, but I was done with it.

 

Looks fun!

 

This is for the best. Seems like UK is sticking with regular folks so I’m kind of glad we get both versions of the show still.

 

Hmm interesting. I know we talked about it, but having the celebs brought out the worst aspects of the show. Whats-her-face basically throwing the comps and losing money because it didn't matter to her and Arie basically just stepping out at the end because again, the money didn't matter

 

The Idol is kinda like if Showgirls was a tv show

 

Constantine: City of Demons - I was hoping to like this more but it was kind of boring, despite having an emotional premise. I think I'm just worn out on the whole demons and possession thing after watching Supernatural for so many years. Still, I think I'd consider this above average for the DCAMU. It's cool that Matt Ryan voiced this, I never actually watched the Constantine show but he (and Astra) was definitely a nice addition to the Legends of Tomorrow roster. And obviously it's always great to be like "Wait, is that voice Laura Bailey? It is!"

 

Ronald in Jury Duty is so good and has such good comedic timing that I almost don't buy the "he is a real guy who thinks he is actually doing Jury Duty" thing.

 

I wouldn’t be shocked at all if he was in on it. There’s few things less real than reality tv

 

I'm choosing to believe it's real and he's just a really nice guy

 

This show makes being on jury duty seem like the funnest experience.

 

Traitors s1 was great, but I liked having the mix of regular people and “famous” people
