This ruled so much.

 

I loved this so much. The moment that gave me my biggest “I know that!” smile was the animated Spectacular Spider-Man. I was so happy seeing that. So much love for the fans.

I fucking loved Spider Punk. Him being the sole member reminding and encouraging Miles to use his new ability to get himself out of Miguel’s trap was perfect.

 

All the way live from the soundtrack has been stuck in my head all weekend. A banger.

 

The baby in my screening cried for the first 45 minutes until the mom finally took it out while dad stayed with the other two kids.

I was the only person in my group who knew going in that this would be a part one, I expected it to leave things hanging; I wonder if that affects people's enjoyment of it. We all thought it was really good tho so idk

 

People on Twitter seem to be really pushing the fact that they seem convinced Gwen is trans in this. Maybe I missed something while watching but it didn't seem like this was ever hinted at

 

Didn't really notice anything like that, but Miles and Gwen struggling to "come out" as Spider-Man/Woman to their parents and not being sure if they would still love them if they knew did very much feel like an allegory for gay/trans kids struggling with the same thing
