For some reason our wedding venue only takes payments in checks, which is dumb and I hate it

but they also don't have a physical address for me to send the checks to via UPS (my preferred method because I use UPS all the time at work), they just have a PO Box, which UPS doesn't deliver to

so I have to do certified mail through the post office, which I can still do through the mail room at work, but I've done it like 7 times now and for the life of me I can never remember how to do it. I've gotta ask the mail guys every time and I'm certain they hate me

 

once I'm salaried I'm forcing my sleep pattern to change, no more reason to get up at 5:20. I'm gonna work 8-4 damn it

 

Sounds awful and makes me think about how my landlord only takes checks that have to be sent out on the first of every month and received by the fifth

Just seems like he’s inviting more room for error than he needs to, but he’s a landlord so what does he care

I feel like I learned how to write a check in maybe 3rd grade and then didn't need to write one until I got my first apartment at 21 years old
