I’m still holding out hope that tomorrow at like Noon eastern time the socials post album details/new single, but it wouldn’t shock me if nothing happened. I do personally find it a weird strategy, if nothing happens, to know thousands of fans saw the 6/2 date and not just own the screw up and let people know it’s not coming then, instead of the month long false hope.

Dave and crew probably recorded and mixed their new album all since Edging came out lol

 

Tom in the band = everything moves at a snail's pace. With Skiba, they pumped out so much in a short amount of time. Obviously I prefer the band with Tom though so patient I shall remain

 

With Skiba, they also had a producer whose goal was as much music as possible as quickly as possible.

 

I thought that too, but NINE was also a drawn out process.

Started writing in early 2018, scrapped a whole bunch of it, canceled some early summer shows in 2019 to hit the studio from April to June. They had intended for it to be out by the time they hit the road in June 2019 (before they changed it to be an Enema of the State tour) but it didn't get released until September 2019. So there was actually about a year and a half between the start of writing and the actual release.

The only difference was they released three songs before even announcing the album title and release date which was a strategy most people didn't like and seems to be what they're avoiding this time around.

 

I think there is still some ballgame left to get the song out today but a video has to be the only thing holding it up at this point, or not wanting to steal the thunder/compete with FF. They have to be aware everyone saw 6/2... at least post something blink.

Yeah, Mark had to be seeing everyone talk about it and never said it was a mistake or anything. It’s from their official site so I don’t want to hear the bullshit about it not being from them lol
