I could see Turnstile play off that record 1,000 times and not get sick of it, to be honest.

 

Speaking of Turnstile, hope they release that new song that popped up in this season of I Think You Should Leave

 

i could go the rest of my life without hearing that record again and not be upset

 

Can definitely agree I'm burnt out on this Turnstile cycle, could use some new music or at some oldies thrown back in the set

 

I think the move for Turnstile would be a mixed genre bill. And maybe make it a co-headliner so they can "test the waters" in that venue size while reducing the risk...

For me, the way to nail it would be to do a co-headliner with a hip-hop or indie artist looking to make a similar leap. Direct support from a buzzy hardcore band. And 1-2 opening slots that skew more toward whoever they would be co-headlining with.

That's kind of what they did with their last tour. They played with Jpegmafia and Snail Mail and I believe that combination is what allowed them to sell out most of if not that entire tour. That said, I agree with the hip-hop artist co-headliner, especially after playing Rolling Loud in July. I could see them taking a break after that and then doing a tour in Winter 2024 with a hip hop artist (and possibly some new music).

I just got so pumped. This would sell pretty well in major market arenas.

 

Their not part of the hardcore scene but I feel like Polyphia would make a great opener for a Turnstile arena tour.

 

I doubt it will happen but Enter Shikari is on every festival Turnstile is on so they could be opening. They are on different days for some of them though

I think part of the appeal of turnstile is they could play with literally anyone once and it wouldn’t seem weird

 

Gonna be seeing both at Riot Fest regardless but this tour would decease me

 

If this doesn’t happen at some point in the future my existence on this rock will forever be unfulfilled

Turnstile could not do arenas at all. Phoebe is WAY bigger than them. Turnstile with a new record could do 5k in a major market MAX with good support

 

Yeah the biggest I could see Turnstile getting would be ADTR level. So like small arenas or big halls?
