Yea an A.I. could make No Way Home (and probably did... Is Jon Watts a real person?), but only human artists could make Spider-Verse

No Way Home is a great Spider-Man film and so is Into the Spider-Verse. Anyone who disagrees can argue with a wall.

  4. No Way Home isn't a great though. It's ok. Solid flick. And it has the benefit of all the other Marvel movies in the last 4 years being way worse.

“No Way Home” is fine. It’s a certified crowd pleaser and also one of the ugliest looking “Spider-Man” movies out there.

No Way Home is only good because it has Tobey and Andrew. It was a pretty weak and boring film until they show up, and the movie was just visually unsatisfying compared to films like TASM2

That being said, I watched it 3 or 4 times

Rewatching the first one again and it’s so good. It’s really exciting to see on screen how much the creators love the comics/characters and want to push the boundaries of animation.

I think The Iron Giant and Into The Spiderverse are the greatest superhero cartoons of all time and I challenge anyone to try and change my mind :-p

I for one am excited for another round of Spider-Man movie discourse. It’s been a minute.

Certainly better than reading any Twitter takes on Zeb Wells’ current run of Amazing Spider-Man with John Romita Jr & friends.

Seeing this tonight at the Drive-In. Watching the first right now with my 6 month-old son asleep on my lap. Life's good.

So, yeah, the cliffhanger ending is abrupt, but it leaves you wanting more which is all you can ask out of a cliffhanger ending. It's not a cliffhanger that insults the audience, I'll say that much. I'm not sure if I like it more than the first but I do like the progression Miles has made and feel like this is only so good because of the exact direction they went with him. The writers made some interesting moves and put him in some situations that I was hoping we'd see. Kinda odd how there are only a few "Spideys" who see Miles POV, however. I never took Spider-Man to be the 'this pain and suffering if for the greater good of the multiverse' character, but that's my only complaint. I'm sure some fans will be taken back by the origin of Miles' powers but I think it works in the context of the trilogy. I'll see this 1 or 2 more times before it hits digital.

And for those who want to know about any cameos - Donald Glover makes a cameo as live-action Prowler and Ms Chen from the Venom films appears and talks to Spot. You also see images of Tobey and his Ben as well as Andrew and Captain Stacy.

I loved this. Didn't think the first could be topped, but this is my new favourite Spidey movie. Couldn't stop smiling throughout. Gwen was amazingly fleshed out, and loved the soundtrack.

Can't wait to see it again.

Glad to hear the soundtrack is good - haven’t seen many reviews mention it and it’s such an integral aspect of the first

this was... a lot of movie lmao. maybe too much at points, the first one's sneaky best feature is its perfect pacing and ability to put the quieter moments exactly where needed. this is so jampacked it unfortunately loses that

still really strong when it's focused on the relationships between Miles and Gwen with their parents, a bit more hit and miss with the multiverse stuff. Kaluuya absolutely steals the show at the least there. and the visuals are just breathtaking obviously

I don't think it's quite as iconic as the first's, but man the James Blake song is absolutely gorgeous

Really excited for this one - got tickets for 1115 Friday (i like the late late shows for movies that may attract a decent sized kid crowd). The first one holds a special place, because not only was it an awesome movie, but I saw it on my honeymoon at the theatre at disney springs after a great day at the parks. That was almost 5 years ago so this sequel has been a long time coming.

Semi spoiler I guess... but maybe we'll get a 3rd one quicker because per rotten tomatoes, this one has a cliffhanger ending and surely they won't leave us waiting for 4.5 years for a resolution on whatever that cliffhanger is. [/spoiler[
