The verses in this song give me SUCH a blink-182 vibe, I think it's mostly in Ryan's vocal inflection, but it is *so* good.

  9. The instrumentation with this single is really cool for them, not exactly the same old bag of tricks. The verse guitars have these really full, strummed chords like you’d expect in a chorus, but then the chorus comes around and it’s like both guitars take the lead

Also really loving how much fun the bassist is having! He’s been a highlight since joining the band but we really haven’t heard him go off like this since Southern Air

I can’t wait to relisten to these songs. I love childhood eyes and I lived everything I heard last night even more

Single sounds great, love the bridge and the "Let's go."

EP sounded excellent, can't wait to play it on repeat.

Yeah, the lead tone in the chorus is sick, and Josh’s fill toward the end of the outro was another highlight for me.

New single is pretty bland to me tbh

I can’t stop thinking about the intro drum track on 3 Minutes More. Hell the drumming throughout the entire EP was awesome, Nate really stepped it up on these songs IMO. And they sound super punchy which I love.

I’ve sadly already forgotten what Hiding in the Light sounded like but it was the one I was most immediately hyped on last night. (and I was hyped on them all) Can’t wait to hear that one again.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Hiding had that immediate crunchy as hell guitar lead-in that instantly made me headbang

So for those that listened to the stream, let’s hear the verdict on the Vic and Chris features. Enhances the song? Distracting? Nice blend??

Interestingly I was actually going to say that the guitars in the chorus are the only thing I don't love about the song, I thought they could have been a lot heavier/crunchier there. Just personal taste though, the song is great. Gonna try to go blind for the rest of the songs until the EP is out

New song is an instant YC classic. I freaking love it.

Josh Portman deserves more love. That dude is always locked in on the bass.

Don't recreate the scene, or reinvent the meanings Supporter

As a not Pierce The Veil listener, fan, or whatever, I thought the song was really good. I don't want to spoil it too much, so I'll just say that their voices work really well together.
