Its an acoustic-ish version of Dizzy, check itunes. And I totally agree about Shame and Be Sensible as solid b-sides.

That's so hard to say, ha. I think I'll need more time on this to rank the individual songs against my favorites from their other records, because those are also some of my favorite songs of all time. "Pol Roger" might be my third favorite of their closers, though, and I think both of these are among the strongest things Jim has written, lyrically.

 

@CoffeeEyes17 and I started this awhile back but I don't think we finished. I was having trouble slotting the Static Prevails songs in there.

gotcha just curious, i'll be happy with any JEW record with a song or two that infiltrates my top 10 and so far every JEW record since CTL has had at least one. hell, you with me is already one of my favorite of their openers (behind heart is hard to find, my fav jew song) and i havent even heard the rest of the record, haha

I feel like you'll like this one a lot. "You with Me" and "Sure and Certain" are pretty good mission statements for the overall sound and vibe (though it's definitely not a one-note collection of songs).

I like how ours are almost opposites. Haha

 

Pol Rodger has a lot of my favorite lyrics of Jim's and the chorus is great but I could see people being disappointed in it a bit after how much we've built it up
