It’s not really like that though. Usually people treat me playing guitar as background music and might only be paying attention for a few seconds at a time. It’s not, hey everybody treat this like a concert. I’m literally just doin my thing for 15-20 minutes while everyone else does whatever they want and between playing I’ll chime in the conversation.

 

This was the yard I saw in a listing and if I had this I’d never leave my yard again. Pool/hot tub/pool bar

I wish we were actively trying to buy cause the house isn’t terrible and somehow more affordable than anything else in the area. But also, I still can’t afford it

Instead I’m getting emails and fined from my HOA about “feeding the wildlife” cause I put up a bird feeder

Illinois is like middle of the pack when it comes to their support for people with disabilities, unfortunately. It really narrows the shit out of your options.

Also I’m friends with several pretty talented musicians and I would get so annoyed if they started playing guitar when we were all hanging out.

The only thing my HOA does is the shoveling/plowing. If anything breaks it’s all me.

In fact my HOA can absolutely fuck off because a whole building in my complex caught fire a few years ago. Whole building gone. (No people or pets harmed) They are starting the rebuilding now and they LITERALLY campaigned and forced every single owner in my complex to pitch in 10k to help build it because “the insurance the HOA has was short by 100k”

They did a whole vote and wouldn’t stop doing a vote until it passed. They convinced every person to like commit insurance fraud also???
