If today's border clashes on the Iran-Afghanistan border erupt into all out war, this very well might be the first major war that is explicitly about a water resource dispute. Something security and climate change experts have been saying will become the norm for awhile now.

 

Iran and the Taliban have been at odds with each other for decades. Remember when they offered the revolutionary guard to assist the US in capturing Osama.

 

Yeah it was mainly due to the Taliban's oppressive treatment of Afghanistan's Shiite Hazara minority in the 90's. I think this might be the closest they have gotten to war though.

 

I don't know who Paxton is, what did he do?? That's shocking to have such overwhelming support for impeachment
