It'll be a rotating door of the Chiefs, Bills or Bengals in the AFCCG. Sprinkle in a new team every once in awhile.

I think Hopkins to a contender will be closer to the non-factor or fine supporting piece that Titans legend Julio Jones or Cardinals legend AJ Green were than the difference maker that Patriots’ Randy Moss was, but the small chance of that happening for someone like Mahomes, Allen, etc, makes it super intriguing

 

yep, just like when it felt like it was some combo of Partiots Colts Steelers for years. teams like the jags should have way more than patrick mahomes on their dartboard. you're gonna have to climb a mountain in sandals just to even get to him.

also the narrative that, if that pie in the sky scenario comes together and he gets a ring in a dominant season or two, that’d elevate him from Hall of Very Good/Texans Ring of Honor level to a pretty legit HOF candidate

 

Hopkins has way more left in the tank than those dudes imo. He’s missed time for sure but when he’s been in games he’s still done some really impressive stuff. I feel like Anquan Boldin’s resurgence on the 49ers is a solid comparison for what I’d think a 13-14 game Hopkins season would look like in an offense that didn’t rotate him around as a decoy so much

I tbh think Hopkins is equally as likely to churn out 1200-8 TD in his first season with a fresh-start team as Calvin Ridley is after 2 years away from the game

And let’s be real Hopkins gonna get hurt or suspended for at least a couple weeks and so is Ridley…. Having both guys as insurance for each other, while letting Engram / Kirk / Zay shine a bit more when one of them is out, is a way to make sure our offense always be cookin’
