Started My Dad Wrote A Porno yesterday and it is hilarious. Anyone have any true crime podcast recs?

 

Which side did they fall on?

 

they went movies, with the argument that viewing a movie in the theater will always trump viewing a tv show at home, no matter how good the show.

On the season 2 finale of The Black Tapes. Fantastic stuff.

 

I binge listened to that last month, so good!

 

Pretty much been all Bizarre States all throughout the work day for the past month and a half.

 

Any recommendations for a good philosophy podcast?

 

Blew through all of the episodes of Gimlet's new podcast Heavyweight super quickly. Such a great show. It's more or less about the host assisting his friends and loved ones in finding closure to certain parts of their lives. Only six episodes deep right now so it's a good time to get in on the ground floor! I'd recommend starting at the beginning, but the show is not serialized.

 

Has anyone else checked out Homecoming? Just started listening yesterday but it's really good. It's scripted with David Schwimmwer, David Cross, Oscar Isaac, and Catherine Keener.

 

I tried with that one but it didn't grab me. One of the only Gimlet podcasts I'm not that into unfortunately.

Been meaning to start Missing Richard Simmons but haven't had a chance.

 

Just started it and I'm sold on the premise

 

It's a lot of fun. Wish they'd mix up the guests more, but the regulars are all great so I can't complain.

 

Started Missing Richard Simmons - really liked the first episode, going to try to catch up tonight after work.

Fun (ahem) connection to the community/scene with Andrew Dost doing the original music.

 

Listened to the first episode as well. I'm in.

 

Film Junk is the best. Their new episode reviewing Logan is hysterical.
