Yuengling beer pitchers are my go to when I go bowling lol

 

This was my 60,000th post. Agreeing that i want a baja blast. i accept.

 

The bar I went to in college had 85c Yuengling drafts and $4 Yuengling pitches in those pitchers you'd see at a family picnic or, like, old school orange juice pitcher from a pre-COVID breakfast buffet. I think it was my senior year it got jacked up to $1/$5. The other option on tap was Genesee Cream Ale...

I never drank PBR much. We kinda did in Jax. That and BUD ICE lol. But Yuengling or an IPA was my go to.

 

Yuengling is always a beer i assume is shit and then i have it and im like yeah it is shit but this was $1

 

I think I've shared this before, but this might be the only place that could appreciate it...he built the bar in the 70s/80s, all decked out in literal pennies as the decor. So he has every sports league and their division alignments from that era. The main bar had all the hockey divisions and still has the Nordiques/Whalers/etc

My favorite college deal was a 10 shot pitcher for $5 and then I’d get a $2 yuengling pounder and go home fucking hammered.

 

When I was at WVU there was penny pitcher nights .25c pitcher night .50c pitcher. One place just had free beer for like the first hour.

I drink Natty Boh for baseball games so often it’s starting to become one of those natural associations, the same way drinking PBR at house shows is a thing. The flavor itself reminds me of baseball now lol

I want craft beer at other times but when the O’s are on I go full Baltimore.

In college, Yuenling didnt cross into Ohio...so all the ohio kids would stock up on their way home. Now I find it all over the East Coast, but it used to be, like, Wawa-level regional.

Though I think it also was more popular in Western PA than like Philly, oddly enough

 

In Gainesville a bar called Grog House did beat the clock on Friday’s and you could get pitchers of Natty (I think?) for $.25 and it went up a quarter every 30 minutes. They’d also do $5 all you can drink

RIP to Grog for future students because it closed.
