:crylaugh: Chelsea really should be winning by multiple goals. like it's criminal what they've squandered in that half.

I don't watch much of Chelsea but based on tonight I guess that's why they're struggling; all them for the majority of the half but nothing to show for it.

It's truly wild how many forwards have come and gone to Chelsea and "failed" since Drogba.

This is a really nicely written article on being a football fan

"I vividly remember him telling me to savour every moment. ‘You might not see a team this good again, I haven’t seen one this good before.’

Superficially, I knew he was right at the time but the passage of years has made that wisdom increasingly poignant. Sometimes things that people say really stick with you, even if they sound perfectly logical and straightforward. Ken had spent several decades watching Arsenal and he saw some great teams and he saw some average teams. He understood the cyclical nature of the sport.

Perspective is the greatest gift of age; once you circuit around the sun a few times you start to observe patterns. It is, at once, a tragedy and a blessing when you understand that good times are to be savoured because emotions and experiences are fleeting. I had heard this and read this many times throughout life but it was Ken, with his decades of experience following Arsenal, that truly taught me what it meant."

And the other layer of just players (no matter position) who have gone there, flamed out, ended up at other top clubs and have achieved high level success. I mean we talked about in here a while ago but just KDB and Salah alone is absolutely nuts. You got even guys like Ake you could put on there.

Is it me or do MU seem to be intentionally NOT playing into Rashford? makes me think they know he’s not fully fit & don’t want to push it

It would seem @PandaBear! Is going to overtake me in Fantasy due to that Fernandes goal. In other words, I've done an Arsenal / he's done a City as I've been leading the league since around GW 5/6 lol!

and now Nagelsmann is being linked back to Spurs. Time is a flat circle.

  20. I'm curious why Gallardo's name is never mentioned. Is it just too big of a jump to go from coaching in Argentina straight to Premier League?

Yeah I’ve wondered this too. I never see him linked anywhere despite him doing a great job consistently.

Not trying to date how long ago this was but there was a point where Nick, myself, and the other United fans be would posting non stop abuse about Rooney weekly only for you to log on and point out he had a couple goals or a couple of assists every single time.
