When is it fair to put Mahomes over Marino and Rodgers? I’d already have him there but still behind Montana and Peyton and of course Brady

 

I think it’s “if the rest of his career is 2022 Russell Wilson, he’s still a top 5 all-time QB”

Which, if he retired or started sucking today, I think he’d be a first ballot HOF (see Warner, Kurt) but probably needs another 5+ years of elite production and a couple rings before you crown him more than that

 

Plus, if Mahomes ever suddenly sucked, he’d be Bad And Expensive, which is the worst combination for your legacy

 

why would you even entertain this thought
