I agree with that list

 

Kyler Murray is under so much pressure even though he's...going to miss most/all of the season while recovering from a torn ACL?

I mean, I know he's practically a goner at this point, but c'mon

 

Didn't he tear it in December? He should miss 1-2 games at most unless something goes wrong with his rehab.

They could PUP him for the first 4 weeks.

 

He did, but I also thought he had more structural damage than just his ACL. I could be wrong though. I've been searching and haven't found anything. But even when Carson Wentz tore his in December 2017, a lot of people were surprised that he came back to play in September.

You're right though. I do think it was a bit of a stretch for me to suggest he would miss the entire season.

 

Jordan Love isn't really under that much pressure lol

 

It’s true, not sure who has actual expectations for love in first full year but if they do, get real lol

Today their only argument for why they thought the Celtics could comeback from 0-3 was the way the series has gone hasn't made sense lol.

He had to have a meniscus repair as well. The surgery was delayed a bit too so I really doubt he will be back early this season, if at all.

 

I thought it was something with his meniscus. It's wild how frequently reporting on player injuries gets cloudy when a torn ACL is involved. I remember this happening with Saquon Barkley returning in 2021 and a lot of people thought it was just a torn ACL, but there was other structural damage. I've seen/heard similar conversations about Breece Hall, but, again, it was more than just a torn ACL.

It just boggles my brain when I search "Kyler Murray injury" and all I find is "torn ACL."

 

Yeah the reporting around it was so weird. The first mention I saw of it was Rappaport had said something along the lines of him having to have his meniscus stitched...which means a repair lol. On top of that they were also reporting a return timeline of like 6-8 months which was fucking wild, that had to have come from his agent or something.

 

I also think Kyler’s biggest pressure is the Cardinals and Texans finishing outside of the bottom 2 in the league, not really anything about his personal performance

cant imagine there’s much more there — if they have the shot at getting Williams or maybe Maye, they probably do that, and if they don’t, they probably keep him and he’s the unquestioned starter

 

Clayton Tune is going to start half the year at least

 

I don't know, many instances of sports fans telling kids to kill themselves for not doing something they are not paid to do.
