The blood splatter design doesn’t look great and it’s comically excessive but it’s not a big deal. Just hope the gameplay is solid enough.

Once they announce the premiere episode is in Chicago it’ll pick up but yeah people probably waiting to see the roster

I will agree that the DON card isn’t great by AEW standards but it should still be a fun show. AEW PPV’s always deliver and I’m expecting some surprises too maybe build towards Forbidden Door. I do think they may need to rethink DON being in Vegas every year. Vegas isn’t normally a huge wrestling city and they have so many cities that would probably draw a better crowd.

 

CM Punk and All Elite Wrestling have remained in contact over the last week, Fightful Select has been told.

Regarding rumors that Punk was served with legal papers, we’ve been told that some documents were sent to Punk to be signed over the last week We haven’t been given indication they were legal threats but told they covered speaking about certain subjects, disparagement clauses, and ensuring he appears at scheduled television dates, largely to protect AEW in several situations.

From the Punk side of things, we’ve heard that there have been productive conversations over the last week, though we weren’t provided a lot of context to that. People close to Punk believe he will be at the first AEW Collision on June 17.

As of last week, we were not told that Daily’s Place was a backup location discussed explicitly, but were told there were places besides the United Center that were being discussed.

Talent we’ve spoken to in AEW were not given their travel for the first Collision date yet as of May 23.

 

I too agree that the card will deliver but I’m not surprised at the lack of ticket sales or potential PPV buys

 

How does this not spell hes going to be a toxic as fuck cancer if he comes back. This is such a clusterfuck and it’s all because of him being unreasonable to a ridiculous degree.
